Alumni Stories Andrea Owen '10

Andrea Owen ’10 says she found wonderful, lifelong friends at Westmont who not only love God and love to learn, but apply their intelligence to their faith. She appreciates the challenging classes she took and the outstanding professors who mentored her. “I wrestled with some important questions during my time at Westmont,” she says. She majored in Spanish and spent a semester in Spain while pursuing a pre-med track. “My sciences classes prepared me well for medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas, but I also received an education of my whole person, being trained and mentored intellectually, spiritually and socially. Westmont gave me a foundation of knowledge and the skills I need to succeed as a doctor.”
