Westmont Magazine Baseball Team Led the GSAC Standings When the Season Ended

The Westmont baseball (18-9) season ended early with the Warriors two games ahead in the GSAC standings and ranked No. 17 in the NAIA. Outfielder Devin Perez, a redshirt junior from Yucaipa, finished the shortened season with nine home runs. Infielder Taylor Garcia, a senior from Folsom, led the Warriors with a .340 batting average. Right-handed closer Bailey Reid finished his senior season without allowing an earned run in 10 games while earning four saves. Senior right-hander Justin Sanders finished 5-0 with an ERA of 1.38. Senior southpaw Cory Dawson picked up 63 strikeouts in 43.1 innings.
