Despite a sudden end to the sports year, Westmont won its eighth straight Golden State Athletic Conference All-Sports Award, given annually to the school with the best overall athletic performance. “Winning eight in a row shows the consistency across all sports we strive for,” said Westmont athletic director Dave Odell. “I’m thankful for the way our coaching staff supports each other. Prior to the suspension of spring sports and the cancellation of the national basketball tournaments, we were experiencing one of our most successful years athletically. Achieving our highest overall winning percentage and grabbing at least a share of five out of seven GSAC championships were phenomenal feats.”
