Westmont Magazine A Long-Delayed Commencement

The class of 2020 will finally celebrate their graduation from Westmont on Saturday, May 1, 2021, one year late. Graduates completed a Commencement survey in August and expressed preference for this date.

The one-day event will begin with the Baccalaureate service in the morning followed by a brunch and then the graduation ceremony in the afternoon led by the traditional bagpipers.  

Westmont will follow all county and state guidelines and protocols regarding public events to protect everyone who attends from COVID-19. The college will likely need to limit the number of people at the ceremony. 

Members of the class of 2020 and their families will receive more details about Commencement early in 2021.
