FAQs
Is there an admission cost?
Admission is free. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the Museum at no cost as an educational institution. Please consider joining as a Museum Member or making a donation to support our programming.
Do you offer docent tours?
Being an educational institution, all of our exhibitions are designed to be self-guided. We are glad to offer docent tours on weekdays for groups of eight or more by advance appointment.
Where should I park?
Museum visitors may park for free in any marked space on campus (see the Campus Map). Two parking spaces are specifically designated for Museum visitors in lot 7, directly adjacent to the Adams Center for the Visual Arts and the Whittier Science Building. Detailed parking instructions and directions to campus may be found below.
Does the Museum show student artwork?
Only once a year. Exhibitions are drawn primarily from established local artists, our extensive permanent collection, or loaned works from other institutions. In the final month of each academic year, Westmont's graduating art majors present a body of work in the Museum for their Senior Exhibition.
How many exhibitions are there per year?
The Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum rotates exhibitions about every two months, with an average of 5 to 6 exhibitions per season. An archive of our exhibitions and programming may be found here.
